The mantas moved like slow-motion clouds, casting shadows over me. I forgot to breathe for a moment, then laughed underwater, bubbles rising with my joy. I've never felt so small and so alive at the same time.
Time seemed to stretch and compress simultaneously. Each pass of a manta felt like an eternity and an instant.
